On December 21, according to the results of a popular vote on the Public Services portal, the capital of the Kama Region was solemnly declared the Youth Capital of 2025. This status is granted for one year and gives the city the priority right to host major youth events.
This year, everyone could choose the Youth Capital from five finalists - Omsk, Tomsk, Perm, Novy Urengoy and Khabarovsk. Remarkably, four of them have AMAKS hotels.
The gap between the voting leaders was only about 600 votes, so Omsk shared the honorary title along with Perm.
