Over the past week, Perm residents have been closely watching the embankment at the River Station and wondering if the Happiness would flood. And that's what happened!
April and May turned out to be not spring at all in Perm. It rained almost every day, and on April 28, an unprecedented snowfall hit the entire Perm Region. The Kama River overflowed, and the water filled the stairs and parapets of the embankment. Now you can only walk there by swimming or on foot. However, many Permians and visitors to the city come to the River Station every day, take pictures of "Happiness is just around the corner" and enjoy the long-awaited warmth.
